Back up your data, then back up your backup

More than a third of all home users, 39 percent, fail to even make an attempt at backing up this precious data on their hard disk, based on a survey this year by Wakefield Research along with Carbonite, the online backup service. That's especially frightening coupled with the fact, based on the same survey, 51 percent of all Americans have experienced a hard disk crash that destroyed all data. What those numbers are saying is that you are walking around with a virtual "kick me" sign on your back if you don't have a working backup plan.
