Falcon Construction Founder/President Rob Mercurio and Vice President Michael Mercurio maintain a business office in their hometown of Boston. But, as a nationwide contracting company with satellite offices in Las Vegas and Miami, they usually find themselves away from their desks often at one of their sites across the country. That means they don’t have time to pop back quickly to access files.

“It’s not very efficient to carry a laptop when you’re on the go as much as we are,” Michael Mercurio says. “Instead, we need to be hyper mobile and rely on our smartphones and iPads to get business done.”

One of the strongest features of Carbonite is the ability to locate files remotely, from any of the company’s computers. When off-site, Michael can access necessary files, without having to drive back to the office or to get Rob on the phone.

“If one of us is in a jam and needs a document quickly, we know we can get it,” Michael says. “That’s made us so much more productive and efficient. We feel like we’re not wasting time anymore trying to attach files to email and send them to each other, for example. We can just log in, grab what we need, and get going.”
