When you subscribe to Carbonite you get secure online backup for every computer – and external hard drive – your business depends on. For your Windows-based PCs, you will also get advanced features that make backing up and restoring files even more convenient.
What About Mac?
Available in both the Business and BusinessPremier plans:
- Protect the files on your NAS device. Your account admin on Windows has the ability to backup your NAS device. Once added to the backup, any data saved on your NAS device will be automatically protected online. Learn more about NAS backup.
- Schedule backups to fit your schedule. Take complete control over when Carbonite backs up your files. Each user can set a customized backup schedule for his/her computer by telling Carbonite what days and times to begin their backup – or what times NOT to run their backup. (For instance, if you use your computer during the day, you can tell Carbonite not to back up between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.)
- Back up multiple versions of the same files. Have certain files that change frequently? Carbonite can save up to 3 months of previous versions of your files: up to one version a day for the past 7 days, up to one version a week for the previous 3 weeks, and one version a month for the two months before that. - Select which files are recovered first. In the event you need to recover all your files, but need some files more urgently than others, Carbonite lets you specify that those files be recovered first. Once they’re recovered, Carbonite recovers the rest of your files automatically.
Available in BusinessPremier plans only:
- Back up your Windows Server server online. Keep the files on your server backed up safely offsite. BusinessPremier subscriptions allow you to back up servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2011. You may include as many servers as you'd like, provided your account has enough storage space to accommodate the backup.
