Three members of the CarboniteTM Channel Team are being honored as part of the "CRN 2018 Women of the Channel" awards program. Congratulations to Carbonite channel superstars Sabine Schilg, Tara Tomei and Katie Popowski!
CRN's Women of the Channel each year honors the achievements of female executives whose experience, insight and influence help drive the success of channel partners. This year, CRN is honoring more than 600 women whose channel expertise and vision are deserving of recognition.
Tara Tomei, Senior Manager of Channel Sales at Carbonite, has more than a dozen years of experience working with IT channel companies. She's currently responsible for supporting Carbonite VAR partners throughout North America. Tara and her team of top-notch channel account managers focus on business development, setting sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
"A major feature of our new partner program is the ability to be a part of one program that allows you to sell a multitude of products. No other vendor gives you the ability to support a customer’s unique data protection needs from end to end." Tomei said. "Carbonite is ever growing and with this new, simplified program, we are truly dedicated to taking our partners with us through each exciting step."
Katie Popowski joined Carbonite two years ago and immediately made her mark as a top sales performer. Popowski, who was recently promoted to Manager of the Customer Success Team at Carbonite, works extensively to help partners in her region achieve their sales goals.
"Working with Carbonite is special for channel partners in so many ways," says Popowski. "We have a vast data protection portfolio so there is a world of cross-sell opportunities for our partners. Our channel team also takes pride in building great relationships so partners feel comfortable and at ease working with Carbonite."
Sabine Schilg, Vice President of Customer Success at Carbonite, is an expert in international sales operations and cloud business development. Her IT background includes extensive experience with cybersecurity, analytics, data protection and much more. She's also a member of the Carbonite Strategy Group, which focuses on the company's long-term business and technical strategy. What words of wisdom does she have for up-and-coming channel professionals?
