“I believe it's a good product. It has been automatically backing up all the files on my laptop and my wife's laptop without us needing to remember to do it. I bought a new laptop about 2 years ago and used Carbonite to "restore" (download) all the files from my old laptop to the new one. Worked easily so that was a good restore test. I am not confident that I could recover/ restore/ retrieve all my files from "the cloud" if needed. Could probably get some photos back. But I pay for Carbonite so if I need to do a full restoration quickly, I know I can it done with minimal hassle.”
